BOUNTY FARM HAND
1 AVAILABLE POSITION 👩🏻🌾
Time Commitment:
We will develop a mutually beneficial schedule with the ideal candidate.
This position is:
· Seasonal: March-July, potentially through August
· Part-time: 20-30 hours per week with heaviest April-June. This position ideally includes a Sunday commitment 1-2 times a month for 2 hours.
Compensation:
Our starting wage is $20/hour with potential bonuses. We offer an employee discount at Rooted.
Responsibilities:
· Seeding, transplanting, prepping soil trays, printing tags, and watering
·Harvest and process farm products
· Maintain garden beds (weeding, pest management, irrigation, etc.)
· Record keeping
· Maintenance of totes, buckets, tools, etc.
Minimum Qualifications and Expectations
· Must exhibit exceptional attention to detail.
· Must be able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
· Must be committed to participate fully in direct, clear, and timely communication.
· Must be physically able to perform demanding and repetitive tasks each day (including full range-of-motion activities such as bending, squatting, kneeling, standing, and lifting to 50 pounds safely).
· Must have a high tolerance for working in Kodiak’s full range of challenging environmental conditions as well as in hot greenhouse environments.
· Must maintain an orderly workspace.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
· Must be reliable, punctual, and work well independently.

ROOTED ASSOCIATE

Time Commitment:

This position is:
·Seasonal: March/April-July
·Part-time: 20-30 hours per week. This position ideally includes a Sunday commitment 1-2 times a month for 1-2 hours.
Compensation:
Our starting wage is $20/hour with potential bonuses. We offer an employee discount at Rooted.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service, skillfully operate point-of-sale equipment, and accurately handle transactions and interactions with customers
Care for plants (watering, transplanting, pest management, etc.)
Maintain a clean, safe environment
Design, plant, and maintain hanging baskets, pots, and containers
Minimum Qualifications and Expectations
Must have demonstrable customer service experience and a heart for people and community.
Experience in horticulture (especially in Kodiak) is highly desirable.
Must exhibit exceptional attention to detail while working quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
Must be committed to participate fully in direct, clear, and timely communication.
